Sometimes, things have a funny way of working out. I am proud to say… there are nearly 20 subscribers to this blog. Funny thing about that is, the Facebook page which was started to promote this blog, has over 3500 followers. The experts say that is not a good thing. I feel like it accomplishes our mission.
While others worry for “reach”, and “algorithms”, I am simply trying to change the world… one smile at a time. This is not a business, though we may soon offer items for sale. None of what I am doing is for profit first. Some people play golf. Others hunt or fish. I try to make people smile.
Not for the sake of happiness or prosperity, either for myself or others. What I am doing is not designed to impact the world on a grand scale. But if I change the mood or thought of one person a day, and they do the same, a difference will be made. It is all fun and games.
You can check out the Facebook page here.
It is filled with thoughts and memes (though my son prefers the term posts). All designed to encourage people to remember their worth. Drawings and thoughts that inspire kindness, compassion, and the general awe of usual things. Nothing special, but something special, none the less. Again… it’s all fun and games.
We started a YouTube channel. Who knows what that will turn out to be? But, I know what it is now. One video, edited by Carter, and placed for anyone to see. The title is “Encouragement Flash Cards” and it is comprised of some of the “posts” from the Facebook page. You can check it out here.
I get suspicious of those blogs and vlogs that suggest I “like, comment, and share”, but I suppose it is necessary. So I will ask you to like, comment, and share. Only if you find it helpful and believe others might do the same.
We are never the same, no matter what. The years I have spent sharing stories, spinning tales, and drawing silly pictures, have been good for me. Creating anything seems to point me towards the Creator. Speaking good things into peoples’ hearts seems to bring me closer to hearing the goodness of the divine. Considering the sacredness of others helps me to feel the sacredness that is in me.
Here is to the wonder of it all. Here is to the experience, of which, we only see a very small part. There is suffering in the world. There is longing for otherness. What I know of it all, is that if you had a glimpse into the mind of the creator of worlds, you might find that you are the end. One of the many ends of God in this world. Able to share love, offer hope, and give the kindness of Source away.
That is a big deal.
Essentially, you are the bridge between this world and the next. And you thought your weight was wrong. You thought what you drove, mattered. It may even have been, that you believed what others considered you to be, mattered. In fact, you… you are a big deal.
